A resource listed as "On reserve" is being held in a special section at the library. This is because a professor has assigned it for a class and wants a lot of people to have access to it without it leaving the library.

To use an item on reserve, bring your GTC ID card and tell the library staff member as much information about the resource as you can (course name, number, etc.). At a minimum, give the title of the item you need. The course name and number, and the call number for the book, helps locate the item much more quickly.

Typically, reserve items may only be used while you're in the library. Ask us if you need help copying or scanning the information for later use.
